About Our Church
Kern River Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church began as a Saturday morning Bible Study group, which eventually turned into a church in the 1980s. Our mission, along with our sister churches in Central California, is "Reflecting Christ, Transforming Communities." It's our goal to become more like Jesus in character, and to do what we can to serve our community. Currently, we host a Dinner with a Doctor event once every two months, and we are a sister-organization to God's Storehouse of the Kern River Valley, a food pantry in Weldon. We meet for worship on Saturday mornings, which is followed by a fellowship dinner. We also hold a Prayer Meeting on Tuesday afternoons. You are invited to join us as we worship God together!
